Bryan Obregon
Bryan has been always trying to keep himself close to the nature and since early years planned to work where nature was present, that is one of the reasons he is a certified guide since 2012 and a fervent environmentalist. He was born and raised in the foothills of the Central Mountain Range in Costa Rica, in a small county named San Rafael de Heredia, close to some volcanos and tropical cloud forest, it was these ecosystems of green misty forest right next to active volcanos that generated the interest on learning more about nature and the beauty around it and inspired him to study Natural Resource and Wildlife Management, as well as he is an active collaborator of several NGOs with projects involving subjects about national parks, sea turtles, reforestation, environmental education, etc.
This passion for nature also is combined with the outdoor adventure sight since he mentioned that his favorite activities are snorkeling, kayaking, trekking, running, rafting, ziplining, rock/tree climbing.
He has gained experience as a Naturalist Guide working in all the Costa Rica different ecosystems as a general guide and as a local guide, and for more than a decade has been using the scenario where he works to deliver an environmental message of getting people closer to nature. As part of his favorite things of nature he loves to bird watch and work in gardens in his free time.
Adventure, fun experiences and respect for nature are highlights in Bryan's guiding style.
