Indira Flores
Indira was born and grew up in the beautiful and historical city of Quito located in the Ecuadorian highlands. While her primary hobby growing up was learning languages, she became increasingly interested in animals and nature as she got older. Before becoming a naturalist guide, she attended the University where she earned her degree in Business Administration in Tourism. This led to public relations work in the islands for a tourism company.
Presently, Indira is devoted to her work as a naturalist guide for the Galapagos National Park and their conservation efforts. She wants to help preserve the magnificent and fragile environment that can be found on every island of the Galapagos. She feels very lucky to be in a place where she can combine her interests. Her dream for many years has been to bond with animals and nature, speak different languages and share her respect and love for this beautiful world with others.
