Jennifer Fought

Jennifer is a seasoned expedition guide with many years of experience leading adventurers through some of the world's most remote and challenging environments. Born and raised on the beaches of northwest Florida, she developed an early appreciation for the outdoors and a lasting curiosity about the natural world. That interest led her to Florida State University, where she earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Structural Geology.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has guided voyages across continents, from the frozen wilderness of Antarctica to the dense rainforests of the Amazon. As an expedition guide, her enthusiasm for geology shines through in every outing. She enjoys helping travelers understand the stories written in landscapes, sharing insights into rock formations, fossils and the geological processes that have shaped our planet over millions of years. Whether examining an outcrop along a hiking trail or discussing tectonic forces from the deck of a ship, she seeks to make Earth science accessible and engaging.

Jennifer's commitment to safety is paramount, and she holds certifications in Wilderness First Response, lifeguarding and crevasse rescue. When she is not guiding expeditions, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping and exploring new terrain. Her interests also include fitness, photography and public land conservation. Jennifer believes that meaningful experiences in nature can inspire curiosity, stewardship and a deeper appreciation for the world around us, and she enjoys helping others discover those connections through travel and exploration.
