For the first day of the trip, National Geographic Resolution cruised south toward Antarctica. The entire day was spent in the Drake Passage. While there was a little motion, it was relatively calm. Guests were treated to educational lectures, great snacks, and delicious meals. There was a chance to decontaminate all the gear that will be used onshore to protect the local environment. The day ended with a fun recap and one last chance to eat. What a day!
