Today we went out for a pre-breakfast and a sunrise activity aboard our skiffs. This time of the day the weather is more refreshing and the animals are also more active looking for food.

This area is the most protected area in Peru’s Amazon region. We learned that park rangers and locals helped to collect turtles’ eggs to be incubated and to later on be released back in the wild together with local kids, that is the best way to teach them the importance of protecting their natural wildlife resources, for themselves and also for future generations to come.
