Today, National Geographic Venture made its way along the eastern side of the Baja California peninsula north of Loreto. After passing San Ildefonso Island, we encountered a pod of around 300 common dolphins, many of which bow-rided the ship.

By noon, we entered beautiful Bahia Concepcion, where guests enjoyed Zodiac cruises and walks to discover the natural and cultural wonders of the area. Plants, birds, and other fascinating creatures were observed and discussed. It was a wonderful day of exploration and discovery.
