This is our first morning outing and we are all very excited to see the wonders of the Upper Amazon. Our skiffs and skiff drivers are ready to take us through magical waterways. Our eagle-eyed guides are also ready to spot and interpret what we see along the way.
People are also a very important component in these areas. We meet them along the rivers in their small dugouts to fish or as they travel and move their products around.
Millions of trees grow along the river’s edge, supporting the rich and immense life of this paradise. Thousands of species of birds and fish live in the Amazon, although they are not easy to spot without the help of the experts on board, which ensures we return to Delfin II with incredible encounters and experiences. We can’t wait to see what else we will find in one of the most diverse places on earth.
