This is our first day in Costa Rica, and National Geographic Quest anchored in Golfito, a very scenic, small gulf within a much bigger gulf called Golfo Dulce.
Some of our guests decided to begin the year with a kayak outing, while others took a Zodiac cruise. In the afternoon, we repositioned in front of Dolphin Quest Farm, a very beautiful place located in the main gulf. All our guests disembarked and joined different walks, and we got to observe a lot of animals. We spotted red-lored parrots, scarlet macaws, and squirrel monkeys. Later, when we were returning to the beach, we enjoyed some refreshing rain. What a wonderful introduction to the tropical rainforest!
