It was an activity-packed day for guests aboard National Geographic Sea Lion. Travelers had several choices, including long hikes up Mt. Riley and relaxing at the distillery in town. Some chose to bike from Haines up the Chilkoot River to Chilkoot Lake. They passed the fly-fishers catching Dolly Varden trout in the river. The big story of the day happened when a Lindblad guest was pulling in a Dolly… but lost it to a bald eagle!
