After heading up the Snake River overnight, we cruised early into Palouse River to explore the canyon and famous Palouse Falls. We ventured up to take in the views of the falls and learn about the geology of the canyon, then we hopped into Zodiacs to make our way up the river.

Palouse River hosts wonderful marsh habitats and hillsides covered with sagebrush, a great habitat for birdwatching. It was a lovely day exploring this part of Washington State.
