This morning we had our first opportunity to interact with the locals who live in small villages and communities along the river. In San Francisco we visited the homes of a few locals and were introduced to the Minga Peru project. In the early afternoon many of us swam in Clavero Lake surrounded by two species of river dolphins, the pink river and the gray. In the afternoon we explored in the waterways around the lake spotting more birds and small primates.
