Today National Geographic Sea Lion was docked in Sitka, Alaska. The day began with fog and mist on the mountaintops, but throughout the day the peaks peeked out occasionally. Our group of hikers who took on Mount Riley had a great time, but were definitely a bit tired. A lot of guests enjoyed the Battery Point hike, as well as the scenic ride to the beach and back. Those at the Klukwan Native Village and Chilkat River Float also had a great time, and even spotted a moose on the way home.
