This morning we went ashore on Devil Island, located in Erebus and Terror Gulf. A huge Adelie penguin rookery was our goal, and we spent a few hours hiking to the colony and watching all of the activity. While enjoying the hubbub of the colony we spotted some crabeater seals floating on some nearby pieces of ice. On our way back to the ship all of the Zodiacs cruised through the floating bits of ice to have a look at the seals.
