Today, we were at Santa Cruz Island, where he had a full day visit, one of them was at the giant tortoises breeding center, located in the national park area.
After some free time in town we went to the highlands to visit: ‘El Trapiche”, which is a local farm running by Don Adriano Cabrera since 1960. Here we enjoyed the moon shine, sugar cane juice, coffee and local cheese, then we went to have lunch in a local restaurant, “el Manzanillo”, and right afterwards, we walked around this are to look for giant tortoises in the wild, as well as land and lagoon birds.
On the way back to the village we stopped in a natural lava tunnel and walked inside of it.
