National Geographic Islander spent the day exploring the east coast of Santiago Island. During the morning we had the opportunity to explore the shoreline of the main island and nearby Sombrero Chino Islet from our Zodiacs, kayaking and while snorkeling.

At noon we repositioned after sailing close by Bainbridge Islet to see a large group of American flamingoes courting. We eventually reached Sullivan Bay where we set off to explore a one hundred year old lava field.
