Each year, the National Geographic Society and Lindblad Expeditions welcome a cohort of Pre-K to 12th grade educators aboard the fleet for a life-changing, field-based experience. The Grosvenor Teacher Fellowship, a professional development opportunity designed to bring new geographic awareness into a wide range of learning environments and communities, gives educators invaluable access to remote destinations around the world.

Exploring wild and remarkable places like Antarctica, Galápagos, Iceland and the Arctic provides new perspectives on the planet, inspiring travelers to take actions that will help protect and preserve the wildlife and natural wonders. The impact these voyages have on fellows, and in turn their students, can create ripple effects that last for years to come.

In the videos below, meet two 2024 Grosvenor Teacher Fellows and watch how they’re translating their travel experiences into extraordinary learning opportunities back home.
